Summer School on CANCER REGISTRATION: Principles and Methods, 13 – 17 July 2020, Goyang, Republic of Korea

Applications are now open for the 2nd Annual International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) - Korean National Cancer Center Joint Summer School on CANCER REGISTRATION: Principles and Methods.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS. The course is intended for health professionals working in cancer registration and targets up to 25 participants from South, South-East and East Asia. Priority is given to applicants from low- and middle-income countries who are involved in the process of establishing or strengthening a population-based cancer registry. All participants must be fluent in English, the working language of the course. Please see attached announcement for further details. Deadline for applications is 16 March 2020.

There is no registration fee for the course. The Summer School is part of the framework of the Global Initiative for Cancer Registry Development (GICR)'s efforts offer basic courses in each of the six GICR Hub regions and
to extend learning opportunities. The Korean National Cancer Center and its Graduate School of Cancer Science and Policy have generously provided the financial and technical support for this to be possible.
