IACR's 2018 Annual Scientific Conference, 13 – 15 November 2018
The IACR 40th Annual Scientific Conference key theme is "Cancer registration: from data generation to decision-making" and was jointly organised by the International Association of Cancer Registries and the Arequipa Population-Based Cancer Registry headed by Dr. Luis Medina Fernandez.
The 40th IACR Annual Scientific Conference was held at the Libertador Hotel Arequipa, Arequipa, Peru, from 13 - 15 November 2018.

Workshop Faculty
Cancer registration pre-conference workshops, on Quality of Cancer Registries led by Dr Marion Piñeros (IARC) and Dr Esther de Vries (Bogota, Colombia) and Cancer Registries and Cancer Control and Prevention conducted by Dr Guillermo Tortolero-Luna (University of Puerto Rico / Puerto Rico Cancer Registry) and Dr Isabelle Soerjomataram (IARC) were held on 12 November.
